A Brush with Nature: Our Collaboration with Maggie Lam

Woodland Escape—a piece that brings New Zealand’s landscapes to life in 100% mulberry silk.

Where Art Meets Fabric

Maggie’s design journey began with hand-drawn illustrations: Kowhai trees, lambs at play, butterflies mid-flight, and the Southern Cross glowing softly above. All elements inspired by the quiet beauty of Aotearoa. We took these delicate motifs and translated them into a fluid silk slip—capturing the emotion of the artwork while maintaining the richness of the colours and the integrity of the pattern.

The contrast of strong blues and grounded earth tones gives the slip depth and wearability. Whether paired with sandals for a sunny day or styled with heels for something more elevated, this piece brings an effortless sense of calm and sophistication.
