Silk Cot Sheets & Cot Sleeves for Baby

A silk cot sleeve slips over the head end of the mattress, where your baby's cheek and hair actually rest. Some parents would rather have a full silk cot sheet. Both are 100% pure mulberry silk, cut for New Zealand cot and bassinet mattresses, and both wash at home.

Silk is a smoother surface than woven cotton. That is a property of the fibre: silk arrives as one long continuous filament, where cotton is spun from short staple fibres, so the finished cloth has far fewer protruding ends for fine hair to catch on. That is what silk offers here, and we would rather say it plainly than promise you more than the evidence supports.

Fit it taut with the fastening secured, and follow Whānau Āwhina Plunket safe-sleep guidance: baby on their back, on a firm flat mattress, in their own bed, with nothing loose near their face. A cot sleeve is a bedding product, not a safety device.
