Delivery Updates: Flooding disruption update in Upper North Island.

Due to recent floods in Auckland and Northland areas, there may be some delays in NZPost delivery services. Below are the latest updates from NZPost.

We are doing our best to ensure all packages are delivered in a timely manner, however, some areas may still be affected. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Updates from NZPost as of 30 Jan. 2023

On Saturday 28 January we emailed informing customers of delivery delays of all items in or out of certain areas that were impacted by severe flooding, road closures and Air Network disruption. 


Operations resume Tuesday 31 January.
Whilst the adverse weather continues to impact areas, and some regions remain under a State of Emergency, operations will resume tomorrow where safe to do so.  

You can now send items as usual in and out of the following areas: 
  • Northland 
  • Wellsford/Warkworth
  • Auckland* 
  • The Coromandel 
  • Between the North and South Island  
*Due to flood damage the Maungawhau Branch will be closed until further notice. Operations are being redistributed however expect delivery delays in the area.  

However, lasting road closures and flood damage may continue to cause minor delays in certain areas. Please exercise caution if lodging perishable items into impacted areas as delivery delays can be expected.
