The silk itself
We use 22-momme, 6A-grade mulberry silk, the finest you can buy. Momme is how silk is weighed, and 22 is the number to look for: dense enough to feel substantial and drape beautifully, yet able to wash again and again and still feel new. Both sides are pure silk, never blended.

Because silk is so smooth and absorbs so little moisture, your skin keeps its own hydration through the night and you wake with fewer pillow lines.

A smoother surface means hair isn't dragged and roughed up as you move in your sleep, so it stays sleeker and breaks less.

The details
A neat envelope back folds the pillow away behind the fabric, so there's nothing to fasten and nothing on show. Each pillowcase arrives individually boxed – ready to give, or to keep.

It carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which means it's been tested for harmful substances – nothing on it you wouldn't want near your face each night.

Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag, or hand wash with a silk-friendly detergent. Hang to dry out of direct sun, and a cool iron on the reverse if you like.
